Two sourcing routes, one measured target
| Source | What to define |
|---|---|
| Anhydrous caffeine | Specify identity, assay, grade and supplier traceability. Finished-pouch content still needs verification. |
| Guarana | Specify botanical identity, extract ratio where relevant and lot-linked caffeine assay. Extract mass is not caffeine mass. |
| Green coffee / yerba mate | Account for caffeine from all contributing ingredients and check each extract specification. |
| Mixed sources | Calculate and test total caffeine per finished pouch. A blend cannot be understood from the added anhydrous caffeine alone. |
Natural does not establish a release profile
A botanical source is an ingredient identity and positioning choice. Claims such as slow release, four-to-six-hour effects, no crash or reduced palpitations require evidence for the finished formulation and cannot be inferred from guarana or L-theanine alone.
