Buyer’s answer: Artwork approval should connect the final formula, can drawing, strength statement and destination-market information in one version.
Confirm the technical artwork
Use the correct can model and dieline. Check label dimensions, print areas, bleed and any opening or closure interference with the packaging supplier. A beautiful render is not a production-ready label file.
Check the product information
Review product name, caffeine units, ingredient list, warnings, contact details, quantity, codes and required language. Ensure that front-of-pack wording does not contradict the fuller ingredient or serving information elsewhere on the can.
Approve one controlled version
Record the artwork filename, revision, date and approver. If formula or can changes follow, reopen the relevant checks. Keep the approved print proof and assembled prototype linked to the same specification.
What to put in the project record
| Decision | Project specification |
|---|---|
| Product identity | Caffeine pouch label artwork |
| Approved reference | Formula revision, sample, packaging drawing and artwork, as applicable. |
| Evidence to request | The specification, relevant test records and market review supporting the decision. |
| Next discussion | Confirm remaining assumptions, responsibilities and acceptance criteria before production. |
