Buyer’s answer: A certificate overview is a starting point for questions. The relevant evidence is the current document for the legal entity, site, activity and product scope involved in your project.
Check the document identity
Request the certificate number, issuing body, holder, site address, scope and expiry. Verify through an appropriate issuer or accreditation route where available. A logo collage or low-resolution image cannot answer all those questions.
Do not interchange standards
ISO 9001, ISO 20000, food-safety standards and GMP wording do not establish the same scope. In particular, an ISO 20000 label should not be rewritten as ISO 22000. FDA registration and CE marking also have specific meanings that do not become general product approval.
Connect qualification to the project
Confirm the actual manufacturing entity, the process to be used and the product documents available for the agreed formulation. Keep site qualification separate from batch results, stability evidence and destination-market review.
What to put in the project record
| Decision | Project specification |
|---|---|
| Product identity | Caffeine pouch factory certificates |
| Approved reference | Formula revision, sample, packaging drawing and artwork, as applicable. |
| Evidence to request | The specification, relevant test records and market review supporting the decision. |
| Next discussion | Confirm remaining assumptions, responsibilities and acceptance criteria before production. |
