Buyer’s answer: Caffeine strengths are development targets with different formulation and exposure questions. They are not a universal progression that every consumer should follow.

Start with a market and serving review

Choose a target only after considering product classification, intended serving, warnings and the destination market. A high-strength project may require a different feasibility outcome from a lower-strength project. Experience with coffee or energy drinks is not enough to establish personal suitability.

Check loading and sensory feasibility

Changing caffeine content can affect the available space for the carrier, flavor and other ingredients. Evaluate the finished pouch, including fill weight, seam performance, bitterness and can count. A single flavor system may not perform the same way across every strength in the range.

Avoid automatic stronger-is-better claims

A portfolio can distinguish clear strengths without promising superior results, fewer side effects or a fixed duration. Ask how the product will be measured and labeled. Finished-product safety, analytical results and claim substantiation remain separate questions even when the dose target is well defined.

What to put in the project record
